Hands On Kansas City How do I become a volunteer with Hands On Kansas City? To become a Hands On Kansas City volunteer, simply print, complete and return the registration form. Once we have received the form, you will receive a welcome email with an attached PowerPoint presentation. This presentation is an orientation for you about Hands On Kansas City and the process of volunteering. After you have viewed the orientation, check out the online calendar of upcoming volunteer events! Select an event that interests you and fits your schedule then contact the Hands On Kansas City Project Leader whose name and contact information is listed for that event. Project Leaders are the liaison between Hands On Kansas City and partner agencies. The Project Leader will sign you up and provide additional event details. The Project Leaders will also check you in at the event and following the event will provide a list of your volunteer hours to Hands On Kansas City staff. Your hours will be added to our database. Hands On Kansas City members who love to volunteer and contribute 24, 40 or 100 hours of service during a year will be recognized at our annual birthday party in April.
